Jawad Saleemi is the Director of AI & Cloud at Telenor Group, where he leads strategic initiatives to accelerate enterprise-wide adoption of Artificial Intelligence. His work focuses on how Telenor leverages AI to shape the future of customer experience, build resilient and intelligent networks, and enable faster, smarter product development.

He also plays a key role in Telenor’s data transformation journey,  a foundation he considers essential for meaningful AI transformation.

Before joining Telenor, Jawad served as Head of AI at Tet Digital (part of Ruter AS), where he built the company’s AI capabilities and ecosystem from the ground up. Throughout his career, he has been passionate about bridging product thinking and AI, ensuring technology efforts deliver tangible business value and impact.
